The number of driving lessons you need to take before you can take your driving test depends on your individual abilities and experience. Our instructors will work with you to create a personalized training plan that meets your needs and helps you feel confident behind the wheel.

You will need to bring your learner's permit, comfortable clothing and shoes, and any necessary vision correction devices (such as glasses or contact lenses). We will provide the vehicle for your driving lessons.

No, South Lake Driving School welcomes all students who are at least 15 years old and want to learn how to drive safely and confidently.

Absolutely! Our instructors work with each student on the skills needed to get on the highway. If the student is able to demonstrate those skills, they will be able to get on the highway.

Each package is customizable. For new drivers with no experience who want to drive safely and confidently to work or school, you should choose a 6- or 8-hour package. If you would like highway experience, you should choose at least a 10-hour package, but each individual is different. There are no guarantees that each student will be able to handle the highway. A new driver who has been driving on city roads could take a 6- or 8-hour package and possibly gain highway experience. 

When the invoice is paid, you will receive a call to set up the rest of the schedule. 

There is no difference other than time. This is done to accommodate personal schedules and individual needs.

You will receive an invoice via email. Please make sure to provide a valid email address. You will have 3 days to pay or before your start date.

No. It is a one-time fee that is added to the total price of the package. Example: Package #1 is $429; with the pick-up fee the total price is $449.
