Behind the Wheel Private Training

Package #1 / 6-hour Training (2-hour sessions)

Students will learn the basic maneuvers such as smooth acceleration, braking, turning, and parking.

Package #2 / 8-hour Training (2-hour sessions)

In addition to 6-hour training, students will learn how to safely merge on and off multi-lane roads with higher speeds as well as perform safe lane changes.

Package #3 / 10-hour Training (2-hour sessions)

Spending more time on the city roads and multi-lane roads, students will maneuver around increased traffic at higher speed.

Package #4 / 12-hour Training (2-hour sessions)

In addition to driving on city and multi-lane roads, students will continue to work on customized targeted areas.

Road Test Prep PLUS

We schedule the test for the student with 90 minutes of prep time PLUS the student will have use of the school vehicle for the Driving Skills Test. See booking page for more information. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Details about the Sessions

Each training session, except for both Road Prep trainings, is 2 hours long. Package #6 and Package #7 is 1 hour long. Each student will perform a short vehicle inspection (checking turn signals, brake lights, and horn) to begin the training session. Depending on the lesson planned for the day, some students might need to watch a short video for demonstration purposes, and it will be communicated prior to the beginning of the training session. The session ends upon completion of a Driver Assessment with the Instructor.

How can you help?

To ensure that you have the most of your behind the wheel time:

Please be in physical possession of your valid Learner's License or Driver's License for each training session.
Please have the proper shoes. Closed toe shoes only.
NO PHONE USAGE during training. NO EXCEPTIONS. Tracking apps can be a good alternative for parents.
Be ready to learn! This is such an exciting moment!

Certificate of Completion

Some insurance companies may give a discount for the completion of a 6-hour behind the wheel training. Students who complete a 6-hour training or more will receive a Certificate of Completion.
